Gumdrop aims to give gum the second life it deserves by recycling it into something new!
This includes wellies, mobile phone covers, packaging and much much more!
This is such a good idea, and personally I believe every town, city... Everywhere should have gumdrop bins.
Not only do these bins have a positive impact upon the environment, they could also reduce the amount of gum that is left on thousands of pavements, streets and footpaths across the country.
This could potentially save councils, and various other institutions millions of pounds a year in gum clearance alone.
Gumdrop doesn't just provide bins for recycling gum, it also encourages individuals to recycle their gum on the go with their handy little miniature gumdrop keyring.
This again is a great idea! Have you ever been in a situation where you've finished with your gum and there isn't a bin nearby? Look no further, this handy little addition to your keys is the answer!
And what's even better is once it's full you can send it off free post to be recycled!
Feels good to your bit doesn't it?
Gumdrop have also just started to sell 'Gumboots'. These wellies are available in 4 different funky colours, and are of course made out of recycled chewing gum and even smell like bubblegum! How cool is that? The wellingtons are available to pre-order now!
I obviously got a pink pair, and I can't wait until it rains again so I can wear them! ;)
Look out for Gumdrop bins on campus and do your good deed for the day and recycle your gum!
Gumdrop key-rings will be available to grab at Freshers Fayre, and you could even win a pair of Gumdrop wellies too. Don't miss out!
